(Redirected from Tambura chords)
A tambura is a Bulgarian string instrument with double-paired strings and is tuned as D3 - G3 - B3 - E4, i.e. the highest 4 strings of a guitar.
Tambura chord grips for the four-choral tambura you can of course write it manually at chord symbols as chord diagrams near the bar, but that is quite a bit of work. If the notes already have chord symbols, you can quickly add grips to your chord symbols by entering the under [Part properties|Chord diagrams] "tambura" to fill in. For each notated chord symbol, the corresponding grip is found and displayed. In this way, chord diagrams are displayed correctly even after transpose.
If the tambura is later replaced by a bouzouki just enter the instrument code "bouzouki" and you're done!
