Fragments

Frequently used music fragments can be saved for reuse. You can then re-enter those fragments at the touch of a button. Examples of applications are fixed gracing combinations highland pipes), motives (composition) and tablature notation.

Fragments are saved as truncated MusiCAD files in .MFR files.

Example:

• You save the current selection as fragment 3 using the tools menu or with a keyboard shortcut: <shift-ctrl-F3>.
• Insert that fragment somewhere else: <ctrl-alt-F3>
