Status line

The status line comes in two flavors: for the main screen and for the notation bar.

main screen

The status line of the main screen shows the following from left to right:

• see the 'hint' text for the 'thing' that the mouse cursor is currently on (e.g. a button on the button bar or a menu -item) In many cases you will immediately see the shortcut associated with that action.
• an eventual notification from MusiCAD when saving and opening.
• line number
• page number

notation bar

The status line of the notation bar shows successively:

• the cursor object in musicad notation (pitch, duration, options)
• bar number
• count
• time
• current bar
• help information
• extra information
