Marching booklet
A marching booklet is a collection of sheet music that has been formatted in such a way that it can be used with a clip ('harp') as is commonly attached to a wind instrument. Music in marching book format is used at a relatively close distance from the eyes and can therefore uses (much) smaller note sizes. Instead of the usual layout in 'portrait', 'landscape' orientation is usually used.
In order to use as few pages as possible, many shorthand notations are used (secunda volta, bar repeat, da capo etc.).
In MusiCAD you can use a layout template that converts the layout directly to marching book format. Optionally, you can make your music even more compact by making good use of shorthand notations and reducing note- and line spacing. The tool playlist has a button 'marching booklet' with which you can convert your music with 1 click.
