Template

MusiCAD uses two types of templates:

• Layout templates to define the layout of music for reuse.
• Melody templates to define the melody parts and their layout.

Both types of templates are actually melody files of which only a part is used.

The template lists shown represent the templates as they can be found in the folder specified in [Options|Preferences|Locations|Template folder].

With <F2> or the button you get a list of available templates. Editing a template can be done with the button

With <F9> or the button you get a toolbox with a selection of layout templates; you can determine the contents of the box yourself.

Layout templates can be linked to shortcuts as well as to a number of buttons in the toolbar.
