User definable button

User definable buttons are available for use on the main screen and during edit mode.

Main screen use

To facilitate often recurring complex actions it is possible to bind a template script to a user button using the layout templates dialog.

Right-click a button and select one of the available templates.

Hovering over a user-defined button will show the actual definition as written in the corresponding template-file.

Apart from the mentioned buttons, the move buttons may be assigned a template as well.

Edit mode use

The same 8 user buttons can be user defined during edit.

Right-click on a button to obtain the list of possible edit commands.
